expansion shall not be more than 50 per <br /> center of the gross area of the pole barn <br /> as of the passage of the ordinance dated <br /> August 24, 1987. The city may attach <br /> conditions to the expansion to maintain <br /> and enhance the appearance and function <br /> of the building including landscaping and <br /> building exterior requirements. <br /> (H) The proposed use shall preserve the objectives of <br /> this ordinance and shall be consistent with policy <br /> and plan recommendations of the comprehensive plan. <br /> (5) Performance Standards. All uses shall comply with the <br /> requirements of this section. In order to determine <br /> whether a proposed use will conform to the requirements <br /> of this ordinance, the design review board may obtain a <br /> qualified consultant to testify, whose cost for services <br /> shall be borne by the applicant. <br /> (A) Fire Protection. Fire prevention and fighting <br /> equipment acceptable to the Board of Fire <br /> Underwriters and city council shall be readily <br /> available when any activity involving the handling <br /> or storage of flammable or explosive materials is <br /> carried on. <br /> (B) Activities authorized by site and building plan <br /> approval shall be initiated within six months. If , <br /> such activity is not completed within 18 months, <br /> the site approval shall no longer be in effect, and <br /> application and approval of site and building plans <br /> shall be required. <br /> (C) The applicant or the owner of land affected by such <br /> site and building plan review shall submit to the <br /> city at the time of site and building plan review <br /> application an amount for fee and deposit as <br /> required in Section 9 of this Ordinance. <br /> The applicant shall upon completion of site and <br /> building plan review, submit to the city an <br /> agreement that they will cause all improvements <br /> called for in the site and building plan review to <br /> be completed within the time specified by the city. <br /> Performance of such contracts shall be secured by <br /> the amount submitted at application or additional <br /> amount as may be required by the city council. <br /> City of Lino Lakes Zoning Ordinance <br /> ADOPTED 7/13/92 <br /> 56 <br />
