Off -Street Loading Space. A space accessible from the street, alley, or way, in <br />a building or on the lot, for the use of trucks while loading or unloading <br />merchandise or materials. <br />On -Street Parking Space. A temporary storage area for a motor vehicle which <br />is located on a dedicated street right-of-way. <br />Open Sales Lot. Any open land used or occupied for the purpose of buying, <br />selling, and/or renting merchandise and for the storing of the same prior to sale. <br />Open Space. Any parcel or area of land or water essentially unimproved and set <br />aside, dedicated, designated or reserved for public or private use or enjoyment, <br />or for the use and enjoyment of owners and occupants of land adjoining or <br />neighboring such open space. <br />Open Space, Private. Common open space held in private ownership, the use <br />of which is normally limited to the occupants of a single dwelling or building. <br />Open Space, Public. Open space owned by a public agency and maintained by <br />it for the use and enjoyment of the general public. <br />Ordinary High Water Level (OHWL). The boundary of public waters and <br />wetlands as determined by the Minnesota Dept. of Natural Resources: an <br />elevation delineating the highest water level which has been maintained for a <br />sufficient period of time to leave evidence upon the landscape, commonly that <br />point where the natural vegetation changes from predominantly aquatic to <br />predominantly terrestrial. <br />Outdoor Storage. See "exterior storage." <br />Parcel. A contiguous tract or area of land established by plat, subdivision, or as <br />otherwise permitted by law, that has one legal description and parcel <br />identification number recorded with the Anoka County Property Records <br />Department. Also referred to as a "lot" or "lot of record." <br />Park, Private. A tract of land presently owned or controlled and used by private <br />or semi-public persons, entities, groups, etc. for active and/or passive <br />recreational purposes. <br />Park, Public. A tract of land publicly owned and used by the public for active <br />and/or passive recreational purposes. <br />Parking Lot.
