CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 15-155 <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING QUOTES, AND AWARDING THE CONSTRUCTION <br />CONTRACT, 2015 SURFACE WATER MANAGEMENT PROJECT <br />WHEREAS, quotes were solicited for the 2015 Surface Water Management, quotes were <br />received, opened and tabulated according to law, and the following quotes were received: <br />Contractor Amount of bid <br />Dresel Contracting, Inc. $171,900.00 <br />Olson's Excavating Service $58,522.72 <br />Engineer's Opinion of Cost $70,000.00 <br />AND WHEREAS, it appears that Olson's Excavating Service is the lowest responsible quoter; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes: <br />1. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with <br />Olson's Excavating Services on behalf of the City of Lino Lakes for the 2015 Surface <br />Water Management according to the plans and specifications approved by the City Council <br />and on file in the office of the City Clerk. <br />Adopted by the Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 28th day of December, 2015. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was introduced by Council Member <br />and was duly seconded by Council Member and upon <br />vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />The following voted against same: <br />Jeff Reinert, Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />Julianne Bartell, City Clerk <br />
