As was discussed at the work session, one of <br />75 these individuals is currently renting a residence in Circle Pines but is looking for a home in Lino <br />76 Lakes; he does fall within the appropriate geographic area. <br />77 <br />78 Council Member Maher moved to hire Mr. Lindahl and Mr. Kurtz. Council Member Rafferty <br />79 seconded the motion. Motion carried on a voice vote. <br />80 <br />81 413) Public Safety Department Update — Public Safety Director Swenson offered the following <br />82 information: <br />83 - Fire Personnel — With the current hires and considering four individuals currently in the <br />84 background check stage, there are now fourteen firefighters assigned to Station 1 and thirteen <br />85 to Station 2. <br />86 - Centennial Fire District — the city is in the final stages of separating from the fire district; <br />87 during the month of January there was joint response to calls. The final movement of assets <br />88 will be occurring this month. There is also an end date the coming Friday when the CFD <br />89 pagers will no longer go off for calls in Lino Lakes. Lino Lakes Fire Station No. 1 (on Lake <br />90 Drive) is being resigned and locks changed. <br />2 <br />
