Section 01 32 16 <br />CONSTRUCTION PROGRESS SCHEDULE <br />PART 1 - GENERAL <br />1.01 Description: <br />A. Work Included: To assure adequate planning and execution of the work so the <br />work is completed within the number of calendar days allowed in the contract, <br />and to assist the Architect/Engineer in evaluating progress of the work, prepare <br />and maintain the schedules and reports described in this Section. <br />B. Definitions: <br />1. "Day" used throughout the contract, unless otherwise stated, means <br />"calendar day." <br />1.02 Reliance upon Approved Schedule: <br />A. Should any activity not be completed within fifteen days after the stated <br />scheduled date, the Architect/Engineer shall have the right to order the Contractor <br />to expedite completion of the activity by whatever means that he deems <br />appropriate and necessary, without additional compensation to the Contractor. <br />B. Should any activity be 30 or more days behind schedule, the Architect/Engineer, <br />consulting with the Owner, shall have the right to perform the activity or have the <br />activity performed by whatever method deemed appropriate. <br />C. Costs incurred by the Architect/Engineer in connection with expediting <br />construction activity under this article shall be reimbursed to the <br />Architect/Engineer by the Contractor. <br />D. It is expressly understood and agreed that failure by the Architect/Engineer to <br />exercise the option to either order the Contractor to expedite an activity or to <br />expedite the activity by other means shall not be considered precedent -setting for <br />any other activities. <br />1.03 Submittals: <br />A. Comply with the provisions of Section 01 33 00, Submittal Procedures. <br />B.
