Section 01 35 23 <br />SAFETY REQUIREMENTS <br />PART 1 - GENERAL <br />1.01 Description: <br />A. The following applies to the work of all Sections of the specifications. Additional <br />requirements are specified in individual Sections. <br />B. The roofing Contractor shall be responsible for all means and methods as they <br />relate to safety and shall comply with all applicable local, state and federal <br />requirements that are safety related. The most stringent of these laws, ordinances, <br />codes, rules, regulations and orders (or this Section) shall apply should a conflict <br />arise. <br />C. Failure of this Section to reference specific laws, ordinances, codes, rules, <br />regulations or orders does not excuse Contractor or Contractor employees from <br />following those regulations that may be applicable to the scope of work being <br />performed by the Contractor. <br />D. Safety shall be the responsibility of the roofing Contractor. All related personnel <br />shall be instructed daily to be mindful of the full time requirement to maintain a <br />safe environment for the facility's occupants including staff, visitors, customers <br />and the occurrence of the general public on or near the site. <br />E. These safety requirements may be exceeded by the specific safety rules and <br />procedures of individual facilities. <br />F. Contractor shall not permit any unauthorized person to enter the work site, except <br />in accordance with the safety and security requirements of Owner. <br />G. Contractor agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Owner and Architect/Engineer <br />from prohibiting any Contractor or Subcontractor's employees, agents, or invitees <br />from entering onto the work site or project if, in the sole opinion of Owner, such <br />employee, agent, or invitee fails to comply with the above mentioned safety and <br />health laws, rules, and regulations. <br />City of Lino Lakes <br />Lino Lakes Fire Station #1 <br />RSI Project #15-12120-02 <br />Safety Requirements <br />01 35 23-1 <br />
