Section 07 62 00 <br />FLASHING AND SHEET METAL <br />PART 1 - GENERAL <br />1.01 Description: <br />A. Furnish and install all coping, flashing and sheet metal work as shown on <br />drawings and herein specified. <br />B. Installation of work shall start not later than 4 working days after a roof section of <br />the re -roofing system, including composition flashings, has been completed. In <br />order to avoid any delays, all work shall be closely coordinated with the roofing <br />work. <br />1.02 Quality Assurance: <br />A. Standards: Comply with standards specified in this section and as listed in the <br />general requirements. <br />B. Qualifications of manufacturer: Products used in the work included in this section <br />shall be produced by manufacturers regularly engaged in the manufacture of <br />similar items and with a history of successful production acceptable to the <br />Architect/Engineer. <br />C. Qualifications of Contractor: The Contractor and contract personnel shall be <br />currently approved by the manufacturer of the approved products as qualified to <br />install the materials of this section. <br />D. Qualifications of Installers: Use an adequate number of skilled installers who are <br />thoroughly trained and experienced in the necessary crafts and who are <br />completely familiar with the specified requirements and the methods needed for <br />proper performance of the work in this section. <br />E. Prior to request for final inspection, contractor shall have inspected all gasketed <br />fasteners and supplied certification letter that all gasketed fasteners were installed <br />and inspected by contractor as per the Contract Documents. <br />1.03 Related Work: <br />A.
