1.04 References: <br />A. Materials used in this section shall be listed in the latest editions of the following: <br />1. Factory Mutual Approval Guide. <br />2. The NRCA Roofing and Waterproofing Manual, 5th Edition — National <br />Roofing Contractors Association <br />3. The current edition of the Architectural Sheet Metal Manual as published <br />by the Sheet Metal and Air Conditioning Contractors National <br />Association, Inc., (SMACNA) shall govern where applicable, unless <br />otherwise specified. <br />4. Low slope membrane roof metal edge securement except gutters shall be <br />tested for wind resistance in accordance with ANSI/SPRI ES -1. <br />1.05 Submittals: <br />A. General: Comply with the provisions of Section 01 33 00 Submittal Procedures <br />and 01 32 16 Construction Progress Schedules. <br />B. Shop Drawings: If requested by the Architect/Engineer, prepare and submit shop <br />drawings of proposed material for architect's/engineer's review, including full- <br />size drawings of all profiles and details of all connections, expansion joints, <br />reinforcement, anchors and other pertinent features. <br />C. Product data: If requested by the Architect/Engineer, submit manufacturer's <br />product data on all pre -fabricated metal roof flashing sections, complete with all <br />pertinent information, finishes and installation instructions. <br />D. Samples: In lieu of shop drawings above, Contractor may submit full-size samples <br />in duplicate of all required profiles and details. <br />E. As part of the contractor's construction submission package, contractor shall <br />submit the following for Architect/Engineer review. The Contractor shall submit <br />the below information to the building department if requested: <br />1. Product data, including ASTM D2137 & D573 results. <br />2. Manufacturer recommended installation torque. <br />3. Contractor's quality control and assurance program. <br />4. Certification letter from Contractor. <br />1.06 Product Handling: <br />A. Delivery and storage: Deliver materials to the job site in original, unopened <br />containers no sooner than five (5) calendar days prior to start of job. Materials to <br />be stored up, off of the roof deck or ground, and covered with a weatherproof <br />covering anchored sufficiently so as to resist wind blow -off. Only those materials <br />necessary to accomplish two days' work are to be stored on the roof. <br />1. Contractor is responsible for all materials delivered to job site until <br />completion of project. <br />2.
