B. Protection: Use all means necessary to protect the materials of this section before, <br />during, and after installation and to protect the work and materials of all other <br />trades. <br />C. Replacements: In the event of damage, immediately make all repairs and <br />replacements to the approval of the Architect/Engineer and at no additional cost to <br />the Owner. <br />1.07 Scheduling: <br />A. Work is to be performed on a daily basis, with each section completed before <br />progressing to the next day's work. <br />B. Completion of work shall be defined as the installation of all specified roof <br />preparation, insulation, underlayment, flashings, counterflashings, sheet metal, <br />fasteners, and caulking. <br />C. Contractor shall complete roofing work on a daily basis unless specifically <br />directed otherwise by the Architect/Engineer. <br />PART 2 - PRODUCTS <br />2.01 General: <br />A. Minimum product requirements have been listed. All of these components must <br />be used and bid. <br />2.02 Galvanized Sheet: <br />A. Sheet metal shall be hot -dipped galvanized steel sheets conforming to ASTM: <br />A653 using Architect/Engineer approved manufacturer. Weight of galvanized <br />coating shall be not less than 1.25 ounces per square foot, "commercial," Unless <br />otherwise indicated, galvanized sheet metal shall not be lighter than 24 -gauge <br />(0.0250 inch). <br />B. Accessories shall be zinc -coated. <br />2.03 Soldering Materials: <br />A. Solder: <br />1. Solder to comply with ASTM: B32, composition 50% tin and 50% lead; <br />60% tin and 40% lead for lead -coated copper. <br />B. Flux: <br />1.
