REGULAR AGENDA: <br />Introduction of Kyle Klatt. Planning Director: Postponed <br />Consider an ordinance to repeal the existing city code and re lace it with a fully <br />recodified city code incorporating --all ordinances approved.since the last update <br />Ben Gozola, Senior Planner reported the City Council is being asked to consider an <br />ordinance to repeal the existing city code in favor of a newly recodified code that will <br />incorporate all ordinances approved since the last update. <br />IVOTION: Council AIember Johnson moved to approve Ordinance no. 97-207 to <br />recodify and reorganise the entire city code as prepared by American Leal publishing <br />services. Council 11eniber Park moved to second the motion. The motion passed <br />unaninlallsly. <br />Consider an ordinance to allow the keeping of horses as an interim use in the public <br />facilities zoning district <br />Ben Gozola, Senior Planner reported the City Council is being asked to renew its <br />discussion on an ordinance to allow horses as an interim use in the public facilities <br />zoning district. <br />Lyle Saumweber and Dawn Oswald, Common Ground Church, supported the interim use <br />process which would be a win win situation for everyone involved and are anxious to <br />have a chance to pursue. <br />Council Member DeLapp wished the proposal would be done in a different way by the <br />Council. <br />J110TION. 1Llayor Johnston moved to approve ordinance no. 97- 204, Option 2 to allow <br />the keeping of horses as an interim Ilse in the public.facilities zoning district. Council <br />A,Ienlber DeLapp seconded the motion. Mayor Johnston and Council Mellrber Park and <br />Smith voted for. Council 11ernbers Johnson and DeLapp voted against the motion. <br />Consider a request to extend the final plat deadline for Hidden Meadows 2id Addition <br />Ben Gozola, Senior Planner reported the City Council is being asked to consider a <br />request to extend the final plat deadline for Hidden Meadows 2nd Addition which will <br />establish the residential portion of the OP development south of Rockpoint Church.
