Roll call vote taken. Motion passed 5 – 0. <br /> <br />ITEM 20: Chavez Property Comprehensive Plan Amendment and Zoning Plan <br />Amendment <br /> <br />City Planner Jensen provided background on the property and reviewed the current request. <br />Applicant Joe Chavez commented on the request, noting they are seeking to rezone this parcel to <br />build a home on it. <br /> <br />Councilmember Holtz, seconded by Mayor Cadenhead, moved TO ADOPT ORDINANCE <br />2024-10 APPROVING THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN AMENDMENT FOR PID <br />14.029.21.24.0004 FROM RURAL AREA DEVELOPMENT TO VILLAGE LOW DENSITY <br />RESIDENTIAL AND AMEND THE MUSA BOUNDARY BASED ON THE FINDINGS <br />AND SUBJECT TO THE CONDITIONS LISTED IN THE STAFF REPORT. Roll call vote <br />taken. Motion passed 5 – 0. <br /> <br />Councilmember Dragisich, seconded by Councilmember Hirn, moved TO ADOPT <br />RESOLUTION 2024-058 APPROVING THE ZONING MAP AMENDMENT FOR PID <br />14.029.21.24.0004 FROM RURAL RESIDENTIAL TO VILLAGE LOW DENSITY <br />RESIDENTIAL BASED ON THE FINDINGS AND SUBJECT TO THE CONDITIONS <br />LISTED IN THE STAFF REPORT. Roll call vote taken. Motion passed 5 – 0. <br /> <br />Councilmember Dragisich, seconded by Councilmember Hirn, moved TO ADOPT <br />SUMMARY OF PUBLICATION OF ORDINANCE 2024-10 WITH APPROVAL OF <br />RESOLUTION 2024-059. Roll call vote taken. Motion passed 5- 0. <br /> <br />ITEM 22: Accept Feasibility Report and Call for Improvement Hearing, and Approve <br />Plans and Specifications and Order Advertisement for Bids for the Hudson Blvd Segment <br />A Improvements <br /> <br />City Engineer Griffin presented the location map, proposed improvements, costs and proposed <br />assessments, findings and recommendations. <br /> <br />Councilmember Hirn, seconded by Councilmember Holtz, moved TO APPROVE <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2024-053, RECEIVING THE FEASIBILITY REPORT, CALLING <br />HEARING ON IMPROVEMENT, APPROVING THE PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS, <br />AND ORDERING THE ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS FOR THE HUDSON <br />BOULEVARD IMPROVEMENTS SEGMENT A, FROM INWOOD AVENUE (CSAH 13) <br />TO 1,400 FEET EAST OF JADE TRAIL. Roll call vote taken. Motion passed 5 – 0. <br /> <br />ITEM 6: Zoning Text Amendments <br /> <br />Contract Planner Fuerst provided an overview of the proposed changes. Discussion was held <br />regarding parcel sizes and allowed uses.
