73 Keep the small town charm. Love the current shops and restaurants there. Add more of
those but not storage units and large complexes. No fast food. Support small businesses
owners. Improve sidewalks from the north side of Stillwater Ave
75 I think the area has a lot of potential if carefully planned. It could be a destination.
77 As more and more homes are built in or near the Village area. Thoughtful planning needs
to take place to address the needs of the community, the additional traffic as well as
green space and walking paths.
82 Please push to put the greenway trail through this area of lake elmo - this will drive lots
of pedestrian traffic through our small town. The old elementary school and fury
dealership is a HUGE connected parcel and a great opportunity. Please don't squander it!
It would be really great to get the realization of the "central park" that Lake Elmo has
been "looking" for in this area.
87 Love the current area, would love to see it keep that small town vibe with more
expansion on walking paths/access from nearby neighborhoods. Expanding lions park
would also be nice.
92 Let it be developed organically as the buildings come for sale.
93 No
104 Not at this time
108 Keep it charming, have some regulations on appearance of new buildings and how they
need to fit and old village.
114 As a resident that lives close to the old village there is a tremendous need for more retail
and dining. With the exception of Hagberg's our family does all of our shopping and
dining in oak Park heights and Stillwater.
119 I appreciate the ability to give feedback in a survey and I think the voices of long standing
residents of the village area are very important.
121 Thank you for all your hard work! Keeping the town quaint, unique & a destination for
families seems to be a very important goal for many around us.
122 Keep the small town charm but add to the resident amenities. Keep fast food/chain
restaurants out and focus on locally owned or small restaurants/dining/drinking options.
Upgrade pedestrian mobility with crosswalks or per bridge over hwy 14. Increase
greenspace and landscaping along lake Elmo Ave through DT. Attract businesses like the
small shops newly in DT (Sunshine, La Vi EST Belle, My Empty Nest, etc.)
ResponseID Response
