412 You don't need more housing to support businesses - that comment in this survey makes
no sense. If you build the area with the right businesses people will drive here. We live
on Lake Elmo and drive to Hudson and Stillwater all the time for the shops and
restaurants.
426 Safe walking paths and bike paths around the lake. Music and ice cream bring people
together! A nice bar/ restaurant ( like Marma) is a great idea
427 I don't want another woodbury
428 No
429 More new restaurants more inclusion
434 I love Lake Elmo and I think that having a few more gathering spots for entertainment
would be very cool to see.
436 Based off how other Washington county libraries look ours is pretty ramshackle and sad
inside, cute outside though!
440 Too.much focus on "The Village" when there are better financial opportunities on the
Entrance of the city Ideal and County Rd 14 as this the what most visitors and Residence
of Lake Elmo see first
444 I disagree with the statement that more housing would need to be built in the village
area to provide more patrons and employees for the businesses in the village. I believe
that's what good marketing strategies are for.
445 Would love to see safe alternative housing for adults with special needs. Like a smaller
boutwells but not for just elderly Ice cream shop Lunch/ breakfast place No chains
448 More retail space that caters to fashion, arts snd crafts.
452 Please bring in more retail shops so there are more options and it'll help drive business
for all
455 Have infrastructure in place first.
461 We don't need housing in the village
466 Housing options, etc., should be determined by experienced city planners who
understand the overall goals. Keeping the growth in proportion to the area and sense of
community seem to be a priority.
467 It needs a cohesive design
ResponseID Response
