469 Please don't go on a building and development spree in the Village area - there are
plenty of other areas to support expansion and growth - you risk ruining the quality of
life and the charm that comes from living in this area. Preserve the Village, please.
475 Lake Elmo has a good reputation and could be more of a destination if there was more to
do in the immediate area. It feels like the town is built around the Inn and doesn't expect
to serve anyone else in a cohesive manner.
480 Pave the path from Easton village to downtown and keep doing more oaths and stuff
with all the new neighborhoods
488 Please connect village parkway into the downtown.
489 N/A
490 More Lake Elmo merch!
491 No apartments or dense housing
494 Be open to supporting small businesses. We tried to buy small buildings and lots in the
village area but sellers were only interested in selling to large commercial or multi-
family uses.
498 I am in my 50s lived here almost my whole life, I have watched Woodbury build up with
all these wonderful places to shop and eat all while listening to a bunch of people say
"we don't want to be like Woodbury!" Or " we live in a small town " sorry but we are 10
minutes from St. Paul and now we live in a "small town" with not much to offer. Thank
you for letting me speak I have wanted to get this off my chest for quite some time now
500 Do not want housing density. Want small town feel with business invesment
505 No
510 The village needs more walking / biking paths, a nice park / splash pad area, and more
reasons for tourists to visit like downtown Stillwater and Hudson.
532 I'd just like to continue to make it more inviting so people spend more tax dollars in lake
Elmo
534 Great village, important to keep the small town feel as the village continues to expand
537 Widen the roads. Need 55 villas or detached townhouses or villas.
539 I live in the northport development. Currently we all have to use a semi private road to
bike downtown. It would be great if there was more of a paved trail connecting to
downtown.
ResponseID Response
