864 Stop lennar homes
866 Do it right and get some fresh ideas from new development. We need to keep investing
into this area.
867 Great survey. I believe the village could have more to offer and be more of a destination
for the community if it had moved re offerings to go there.
871 Love it! It's just run down and VERY expensive to make it refreshed.
877 Something needs to be asap done about people attempting to cross 55-mph Lake Elmo
Ave N particularly at 39th Ave. with no crosswalks, signage, or traffic lights. Someone is
going to be seriously injured or killed. Also, many times cars DO NOT stop for fire
engines attempting to get access to Lake Elmo Ave, N. I see this on a regular basis as my
house has direct visual of this intersection.
878 Please, no modern architecture in future development. Rather, push for traditional
architecture that matches the current and historic character of the village. Traditional
architecture styles are timeless and will be aesthetically appealing for many generations.
Colonial or Nantucket style for all future development will maintain the historic, small
town, and lake-based charm of the City.
881 There are so many apartments and houses already approved to be built. Deal with traffic
issues as the area is going to be a traffic nightmare.
885 What is with all of the "no parking" signs in the neighborhoods? It's unnecessary, looks
like crap, looks like you're in downtown St Paul and isn't particularly inviting or friendly.
Ease up on this. Street parking is not an issue. Save some money on signs. Maintain the
walking trails and sidewalks in the winter. People should be encouraged to get out and
walk/exercise and to walk downtown. A safe crosswalk on county 14 to downtown
would also be nice.
886 Love living here
888 Stop woodburying Lake Elmo
893 No
899 It's quiet and would kill the small town feel if you put in apartments. The environment is
great here
902 It has great potential! Thanks for asking for opinions. Look at future trends research and
city planning expert opinions. Would love to see some shops that offer local artisan
work/ classes, unique items that are "Lake Elmo" not just general gift shops.
ResponseID Response
