Ryan Ness is currently in the Utility Billing position and would be taking on the additional <br />responsibilities outlined in the updated job description. <br />ISSUE BEFORE COUNCIL: Approval of the increased wages for Ryan Ness. <br />PROPOSAL DETAILS/ANALYSIS: Ryan was hired in February 2023 as the Utility Billing Clerk. With <br />the additional responsibilities that were approved to be added to the Finance Analyst & Utility Billing Clerk <br />position and the increase in the grade level for the position, Ryan’s wage would also be impacted by the <br />change. Ryan is currently at grade level 4, step 10. Staff is proposing to move Ryan to grade level 5, step <br />8. <br />FISCAL IMPACT: This would have a minimal impact on the 2025 budget and is included in the 2026 <br />budget. <br />OPTIONS: <br />1.)Approve the wage increase for Ryan Ness. <br />2.)Do not approve the wage increase for Ryan Ness. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />If removed from the consent agenda: <br />“Motion to approve the wage increase for Ryan Ness.” <br />ATTACHMENTS: <br />None
