29 NorthPoint Industrial Park – Lake Elmo, MN │Traffic Analysis <br />January 2022 <br />The following mitigation was analyzed to improve operations at intersections with undesirable LOS: <br />•34th Street N was expanded to a four-lane cross section through Jamaca Avenue N. <br />•A second through lane was added to the roundabout at 34th Street N & Jamaca Avenue N to <br />increase capacity. <br />•The southbound approach at Access 1 was modeled with a dedicated southbound left turn lane <br />and a dedicated southbound right turn lane. <br />Tabl es 24 – 25 provide a summary of the average delay (seconds per vehicle) and LOS under Horizon <br />Year (2040) Build Scenario 2 Conditions with mitigation for each movement at the study intersections during <br />the AM & PM peak hour, respectively.
