Commissioners) present.
Wyoming -Two councilmembers or Mayor can add item to regular agenda. If the request comes
with sufficient lead time and direction, staff will prepare background information and analysis just
as we would for any other agenda item.
If the item is added without prior coordination or with limited notice, the discussion typically
serves as an initial conversation to clarify the issue, understand what the council is seeking, and
determine what additional information or research is needed. In those cases, staff would return
at a future meeting with a more complete report and recommendation.
Newport - (Same as WBL) The mayor or a councilmember can request items be added to the
regular agenda before it’s adopted. If an item is added councilmembers understand that if they
want something added that night that it’s likely going under “Discussion” as there would be no
memo nor staff time to prepare to present the agenda item.
St. Anthony - Two councilmembers to add it to add it to the list of future work sessions. Council
discusses list at worksession and the majority of the council has to agree to move it to a future
worksession and have staff gather information for discussion.
Hugo -Council can add items. Then the councilmember would explain item to council and then if
it is the consensus of the council to move forward with the item they would direct staff to provide
analysis and recommendation at future council meeting.
