walking trail, but would like to see the flag lot removed from the proposal, and offer a walking trail <br />for use by the entire neighborhood. <br />Steve Wortman <br />Resident - Parkview Estates <br />Mr. Wortman said he was opposed to the proposed flag lot; concerned about farm animals close to <br />residential development; wants to see 15thStreet paved. <br />Ed Forletti <br />1743 Ivory Avenue <br />Mr. Forletti said a driveway in the backyards of the homes in Parkview Estates makes no sense; he <br />said he wants to see the flag lot removed from the plan. <br />Council Member Dunn said although she is not a "fan" of the OP Ordinance, she prefers to see <br />larger lots, noting the proposed plan does meet the criteria of the OP Ordinance. <br />Council Member Armstrong noted she couldn't see a group of people from a neighborhood <br />gathering on a 50' strip of land referred to as a village green. <br />M/S/P DeLapp/Siedow - to approve the OP Concept Plan of D.T. Development - <br />Tjosvold/Zehrer based on plans dated by staff June 14, 2000, subject to the following <br />conditions: <br />1. Landscaping at the same scale and density as proposed at the West property line <br />be added to the East property line where house pads are less than 200 feet from <br />the East property line. <br />2. Side yard setbacks may be reduced to 10 feet (living) and 5 feet (garage) only <br />where side loaded garages are constructed. <br />(Motion passed 4-0).
