5. NEW BUSINESS <br />6. CONSENT AGENDA: <br />A. 2001 Liquor License Renewals <br />M/S/P DeLapp/Dunn - to approve the 2001 Liquor License Renewals. <br />(Motion passed 5-0). <br />7. MAINTENANCE/PARK/FIRE/BUILDING: <br />A. Update on Fire Dept. Activities: Greg Mamlquist <br />Fire Chief Greg Malmquist reported there were 373 calls for the year, on <br />December 161h they will ring the salvation army bell from 10-8 p.m. at the <br />Stillwater Walmart, and the 17th is Santa Day at the fire hall, from noon until <br />2. Malmquist asked if Fire Station One was approved for a lighting upgrade <br />and indicated the heating system needed upgrade. <br />B. LEFD Relief Association By -Law Changes: Brad Winkel <br />Brad Winkel, President of the LEFD Relief Association, went over the <br />proposed bylaw changes with the Council. No City Council participation is <br />needed. The Council thanked Brad and the Board for all their work on <br />updating these By -Laws. <br />M/S/P Dunn/Siedow - to approve the proposed changes to the LEFD Relief <br />Association Bylaws conditioned upon the staff receiving a copy of the <br />bylaws incorporating the changes and including the date of approval by the <br />City Council. (Motion passed 5-0.) Copy of minutes will be sent to Brad <br />Winkel. <br />S. CITY ENGINEER'S REPORT: <br />A. Feasibility Report for 15th Street <br />Tom Prow reviewed the Feasibility Report for 15th Street N. with the <br />Council. The money can be borrowed from a closed bond fund and paid <br />back so the project can be financed internally. Linders have an agreement for <br />participation in the 15th Street improvement under its CUP and asked if the <br />City would consider placing the assessment over a time period.
