we should drop the word equivalence, as we are having a problem with the <br />perspective of what equivalent means. <br />Council member Siedow didn't like after the fact approval, but did like the <br />looks of the new site plan. <br />Mayor Hunt recapped that this is the City's Ordinance, and the Planning <br />Commission didn't want to deal with it. He disagreed with Council member <br />DeLapp that this has become a way to do business with Lake Elmo. With <br />the proposed site plan, the City received something better that what we were <br />going to have. <br />M/S/P Dunn/Siedow - to approve site plan amendments request by Heart of <br />America, subject to conditions regarding Minor Subdivision and parking lot <br />islands recommended by the Planning Commission and called out in the <br />planner's report. (Motion passed 4- 1:DeLapp state this may be theright <br />scale in Hayward, WI, but you don't get that impression of a Corporate <br />Woods.) <br />B. Land Use Plan — Reco, Inc. <br />Attorney Filla advised staff and Attorney Chris Dietzen that he has not <br />completed his review and report to the Council regarding Mr. Dietzen's <br />letter submitted at the December 19, 2000 Council meeting. Attorney Filla <br />requested this matter be again tabled until the Council meeting of February <br />6. With Transportation, Parks and Utilities elements of the Comprehensive <br />remaining to be adopted by the Council, staff does not intend to submit the <br />adopted land Use Plan element to the Met Council or adjacent communities <br />before February 6 which was a concern of Mr. Dietzen. <br />M/S/P Dunn/Armstrong - at the request of the City Attorney Filla, as agreed <br />to by the applicant, Attorney Chris Dietzen representing RECO, to table <br />discussion of the RECO request to the meeting of February 6, 2001. <br />(Motion passed 5-0). <br />10.CITY ATTORNEY'S REPORT None <br />LAKE ELMO CITY COUNCIL MINUTES JANUARY 16, 2001 10 <br />
