H. Planning Commission Appointments <br />The terms of Tim Mandel, Valerie Brass and Kevin Herber expire December <br />31, 2000. All three of these commissioners have indicated a desire to be <br />reappointed to the Commission. <br />Councilmember DeLapp praised the Commission for working together and <br />looking at the interest of the City with a wide prospective. <br />M/S/P DeLapp/Armstrong — to appoint Tim Mandel, Kevin Herber, and <br />Valerie Brass to three year terms on the Planning Commission (commencing <br />January 2001 and ending December 31, 2003. (Motion passed 4-0). <br />I. Appointments to Parks Commission <br />The Parks Commission members whose terms expire this year were not <br />contacted regarding reappointment. Staff requested that this item be <br />postponed until January 16 so these members can be contacted. <br />Staff was looking for direction for the use of all City Parks. The response <br />from the Parks Commission was that reservations should be made on a first <br />come first served basis regardless what school district or City was making <br />the request. Councilman DeLapp wanted info on how often the parks were <br />being used. <br />M/S/P Siedow/DeLapp — to postpone appointments to the Parks <br />Commission and a recommendation on how these reservations should be <br />handled until January 16, 2001 Council meeting. (Motion passed 4-0). <br />M/S/P Armstrong/Seidow — to postpone recommendation on how park <br />reservations should be handled until January 16, 2001 Council meeting in <br />order to provide park reservations booked postpone showing booked dates. <br />(Motion passed 4-0). <br />Resolution Adopting 2001 Fee Schedule <br />Since we do not have the final cost of living, Administrator Kueffner asked <br />that this item be postponed until the January 16 Council meeting. <br />LAKE ELMO CITY COUNCIL MINUTES JANUARY 2, 2001 <br />
