Council member Dunn voiced her concern on DNR protected wetland. The <br />Council talked about an office park here and to get the best for the clients <br />and the city itself. <br />Council member Armstrong indicated the Skyview School used different <br />kinds of brick. The Council left a word called "or equivalent" in the code <br />and this is coming up tonight. Dale Glowa stated this is not an office market <br />yet. The law firm was attracted by the amenities out here. <br />M/S/F DeLapp/Armstrong - to deny the Site Plan of United Properties for <br />Lot 1, Block 2, Eagle Point Business Center because materials are <br />inconsistent with our city ordinance. (Motion failed 2-3:Hunt: the <br />architecture for commercial buildings in this area fits the bill, Dunn: Ideally <br />we should have all brick, stone or glass, but architectural standards are being <br />interpreted differently because of the word "or equivalent". We need the <br />code change for what was intended. <br />Council members Dunn and Armstrong asked the developer to make sure the <br />fire hazard of material is addressed and submit the STM information for Jim <br />McNamara's review. <br />M/S/P Siedow/Hunt - to adopt Resolution No. 2001-083, approving site plan <br />and PUD Final Plan of United Properties for Lot 1, Block 2, Eagle Point <br />Business Center Staff dated September 13, 2001, subject to the following <br />conditions: <br />1. Compliance with the recommendations of the City Engineer's Review <br />Letter of September 11, 2001. <br />2. Compliance with the Exterior Lighting Standards of Section 1350; <br />and Section 520 standards regarding site landscaping. <br />3. Recording of the Final Plat of Eagle Point Business Center 2" a <br />Addition. <br />4.
