B. Update on Building Dept. Activities: Jim McNamara <br />The Building Official reported in June, 2002 there were 6 new residential permits issued <br />and 2 new commercial permits issued. <br />Hidden Bay Update: This address does not have a legal building permit because a check <br />had bounced and there was a stop payment on another check. The check will be given to <br />the Deputies so they can run a report. The Building Official talked to Attorney Shoeberg <br />regarding the timeline for resolving this complaint. <br />M/S/P Armstrong/Dunn — to prepare a short synopsis of available options to get this <br />complaint resolved other than the City doing the work and charging back to the <br />homeowner and the length of time to accomplish the available options. (Motion passed <br />5-0). <br />8. CITY ENGINEER'S REPORT: <br />A. Partial Payment No. 4, Keys Well Drilling For Well No. 3 <br />The City Engineer reported that Keys Well Drilling is developing the well and final <br />testing will be completed soon. Prew recommended approval of Partial Payment No. 4 in <br />the amount of $14,677.50. <br />M/S/P Siedow/DeLapp — to adopt Resolution No. 2002-064 approving Partial Payment <br />No. 4 to Keys Well Drilling in the amount of $14,677.50, as recommended by Tom Prew <br />in his memo dated July 12, 2002. (Motion passed 5-0). <br />B. Partial Payment No. 3, EnComm Midwest for Well House No. 2 <br />The City Engineer reported that EnComm Midwest has completed the walls of Well <br />House No. 2, and the project is on schedule. Prew recommends approval of Partial <br />Payment No. 3 to EnComm Midwest in the amount of $18,165.12. <br />M/S/P Siedow/DeLapp — to adopt Resolution No. 2002-065 approving Partial Payment <br />No. 3 to EnComm Midwest in the amount of $28,165.12, as recommended by Tom Prew <br />in his memo dated July 12, 2002. (Motion passed 5-0). <br />C. Bids for Roof Replacement for Fire Stations #1 & #2 <br />The City Engineer received bids for the above project on July 11, 2002 and recommends <br />awarding the contract to the lowest bidder, Nieman Roofing Co., Inc. for their base bid of <br />$99,000.00. <br />M/S/P Siedow/DeLapp — to adopt Resolution No. 2002-066 awarding the bid for Roof <br />Replacements for Fire Stations #1 and #2 to Nieman Roofing Co.
