Minutes of Lake Elmo Council Meeting con't <br />Page 2 <br />Village Mr. and Mrs. Hardy reported that an open hole existed on village <br />property with property adjacent to 2742 IVy Avenue North. Council referred matter <br />open hole: to C. Watson and Bldg. Insp. to check and determine what exists <br />and what should be done to correct situation. <br />Garage at A garage has been constructed at 96 Cimarron. This is in violation <br />96 Cimarron: of Special Use Permit. Bldg. Insp. requested that a letter be directed <br />to Mr. Ahrens at Cimarron advising him to make sure garage is removed. <br />Counsel to write letter. <br />VFW - 5725 Motion by C. Abercrombie second by C. Watson to approve issuance of <br />Liquor License: a limited use "ON SALE" liquor license ($500 license fee) for the <br />Lake Elmo VFW Post 5725 for 1974. <br />Carried 5 - 0. <br />Twin Point Motion by C. Abercrombie seconded by C. Shervheim to approve issuance <br />Tavern Liquor of OFF SALE Liquor license ($100 license fee), ON SALE liquor <br />Licenses: license ($1,000 license fee), ON SALE SUNDAY liquor license <br />($200 license fee) and cigarette license ($12.00 license fee) to <br />Norman Schwartz Twin Point tavern for 1974. <br />Carried 5 - 0. <br />Ben's Elmo Inn Motion by C. Shervheim second by C. Friedrich to approve issuance of <br />Liquor License: OFF SALE Liquor license ($100 license fee), ON SALE liquor license <br />($1,000 license fee), ON SALE SUNDAY liquor license ($200 license <br />fee) and cigarette license ($12.00 license fee) to Ben Gorka <br />Ben's Elmo Inn for 1974. Shervheim to delegate Village <br />Disposal Work- Employee Robert Wies to attend the Home Sewage Disposal Workshop <br />Shop Feb. 5-7: Feb. 5 - 7, 1974 at the Ramada Inn, Lexington and Co. Rd. E., <br />Arden Hills. Carried 5 - 0 <br />C. Graves Counsel advised that legal fees resulting from clearance of property <br />legal charges for use by Charles Graves amounted to $390.40. <br />for Heubner <br />property Motion by C. Abercrombie second by C. Shervheim to invoice Mr. Graves <br />agreement: for $390.40 for costs involved as per original agreement. <br />Carried 5 - 0. <br />Claims: Motion by C. Shervheim second by C. Abercrombie authorizing clerk <br />to pay submitted claims. Carried 5 - 0. <br />Cimarron Letter received from Minnesota Polution Control Agency regarding difficulty <br />with Cimarron sewage disposal system. <br />Motion by C. Shervheim second by C.
