R-73-20 <br />RESOLUTION <br />VILLAGE OF LAKE ELMO <br />WASHINGTON COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT 1973-2 <br />(I--94 UTILITY CROSSINGS) AND ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS. <br />WHEREAS, pursuant tothe direction of the Village Council <br />of the Village of Lake Elmo, the Village Engineer has prepared <br />plans and specifications for the construction of utility crossings <br />under the proposed Interstate Highway No. 94 and has presented the <br />plans and specifications to the Village Council for its approval; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, it appears that the State of Minnesota will start <br />construction of said Interstate Highway No. 94 through the Village <br />of Lake Elmo during the year 1973; and <br />WHEREAS, the aforesaid plans for said utility crossings call <br />for the construction thereof in conjunction with the construction <br />of said Interstate Highway No. 94: <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the <br />Village of Lake Elmo, Minnesota: <br />1. That such plans and specifications, a copy of which are <br />now on file with the Village Clerk, are hereby approved. <br />2. Construction of said utility crossings is hereby ordered <br />under the authority given this Council under Chapter 444 of the <br />Minnesota Statutes; said project shall be designated Improvement <br />Project 1973--2 (I--94 Utility Crossings). The Village Clerk shall <br />prepare and cause to be inserted in the official newspaper and <br />such other publications as may be required by law, an advertisement <br />for bids, upon the making of such improvement under such approved <br />plans and specifications; said advertisement for bids shall be <br />in the form approved by the Village Engineer and shall be published <br />as required by law. <br />3. That said advertisement shall state substantially that <br />"sealed bids will be received by the Village of Lake Elmo, <br />Minnesota, in the Village Hall until 2:00 P.M. C.D.S.T., on Friday, <br />June 22, 1973, at which time they will be publicly opened and read <br />aloud for the furnishing of all the labor and materials, and all <br />else necessary for said improvement". <br />Adopted by the Village Council this 5th day of June, 1973. <br />/4i", Vzt4, . 1p�� <br />Calvin J.
