AGREEMENT <br />THIS AGREEMENS' is made July , 1975, by and between <br />the City of Lake Elmo and the Citj' alf Oakdale, Washington County, <br />-Minnesota. <br />Purpose <br />Pursuant to the rules and regulations of the Minnesota rn-- <br />vironr;Iental Quality Council and with the cooperation and advice <br />of the City of Lake Elmo, the City of Oakdale will review and <br />submit an I nvironr.zental impact Statement for the proposed 563 <br />acre (377 acres in Oakdale; 186 acres in Lame Elmo) 3M develop- <br />ment situated within the two cities as shown on attach -rent 01. <br />Conditions <br />1) For the purpose of satisfying the requirements of the <br />Lnvironne:ntal Quality Council., the City of Oakdale will <br />be identified as the Responsible Agency for preparation <br />of the LIS. <br />2) The City of Oakdale shall provides the City of Lake Elmo <br />with copies of all correspondence mailed by the City of <br />Oakdale or its consultants to 3H or other agencies or <br />persons relative to the 3M Lrivironmental Impact State-- <br />nent. <br />3) The City of Oakdale shall provide the City of Lake b:lmo <br />with copies; of all information furnished to it regarding <br />the 3M Errvironr.�ental Impact Statement whether the informa- <br />tion is furnished by 3M, its consultants, or other agencies <br />or persons. <br />$) The City of Oakdale will notify the; City of Lake ElrV o <br />of all neetings to be held. with 3-1.1, the State of Finne- <br />sota, or other agencies or persons relative to the 3°1 <br />Environmental impact Statement. <br />5) The City of Oakdale shall not hire any consultants to <br />assist in the evaluation of the 3MA Lnvironrlental Impact <br />Statement without prior consultation with the City of <br />Lake Elmo. <br />Disbursement of Funds <br />1) Any contracts let or purchases made for the benefit of <br />both of said cities pursuant to this agreement shall con- <br />
