That the Washington County Board of Commissioners be,and is <br />hereby, urged to cease all negotiations with Elwood Mears for the ac- <br />quisition of additional land in the City of Lake Elmo for addition to <br />said regional park, until such time as the City Council of the City of <br />Lake Elmo approves, in writing, a specific legally described tract of <br />land for acquisition for that purpose. <br />2. That until any such further acquisition of lands for the Lake <br />Elmo Regional Park is specifically approved in writing by a legal des- <br />cription by the City of Lake Elmo, the Washington County Board is urged, <br />hereby, to refrain from acquiring any additional lands in the City of <br />Lake Elmo. <br />3. The City Council of the City of Lake Elmo hereby requests <br />and urges the said Board of Commissioners to provide the City with a <br />current map and legal description of all lands heretofore acquired as <br />part of said Lake Elmo Regional Park and including the legal description <br />of any additional lands the Washington County intends or plans to acquire <br />as part of said regional park. <br />4. The Lake Elmo City Council hereby urges and requests that <br />said Board of Commissioners, pass a resolution directing that all its <br />employees or officers cease any further negotiations for or acquisitions <br />of land as additions to Lake Elmo Park until further order of the <br />Washington County Board of Commissioners after its approval by the City <br />of Lake Elmo as stated above. <br />Adopted by the City Council this 21st day of September, 1976. <br />Attest: <br />raze!, n <br />17onald liehs komer, Clerk <br />Ma n, <br />rd L.
