Used as a truck route, <br />--Whittaker suggested posting the road "No Thru Traffic","No Truck <br />Traffic"'.. The Council agreed," <br />Motion carried 5-0, <br />The gate will not be put up during the interim period of the survey, <br />The survey will include those residences along Jane Road N to <br />Lake Jane Trail/45th Street and.Jamaca Avenue N. to 53rd Street. <br />The Administrator will discuss signing the area with the Maintenance <br />Superintendent, <br />10, RICHARD KRAFT - CONVENIENCE GROCERY IN HB ,ZONING DISTRICT - KUNZ OIL: <br />The Administrator explained that'_Kunz Oil -would like to put'in a <br />convenience grocery section; knit the Zoning Ordinance does -not <br />permit this use under HB' .The Planning Commission indicated they <br />would be -willing to consider an amendment that would link convenience <br />with other services that are highway related',," <br />Mr. Kraft is currently appealing the Zoning Administrator's decision <br />that convenience groceries are not permitted in the HB zone. <br />The Council discussed the trend for service stations providing <br />convenience items:(Ehh,t:are not auto related; and agreed such <br />uses need to be redefined, <br />Mr. Kraft submitted a petition of what their customers would like <br />to have available; hut they do not .intend to carry a full line of <br />groceries: <br />M/S/P Morgan/Mottaz to deny the appeal of Richard Kraft, for Kunz <br />Oil, and instruct blia-Planning. Commission to -set--a public rearing <br />October 12, 1981, to consider amending the Zoning <br />Ordinance to provide for convenience grocery in the HB area, <br />11, MARK PETERSON - SHORELAND PERMIT; <br />Mr, Peterson is requesting a Shoreland Permit to construct an <br />addition to an existing home at 9530 10th St. Lane, within 1,000 <br />feet of Goose Lake. <br />The Council reviewed the application. and the Engineer's and <br />Building Inspector's recommendation to approve the permit. A variance <br />is not needed. <br />M/S/P Morgan/Mottaz to approve the Shoreland Permit for Mark <br />Paterson, 9530 10th Street Lane, per the Building Inspector and <br />Engineer's recommendation, <br />
