IRB - CONN CO., INC. ^ FINANCING FOR ACQUISITION AND IMPROVEMENT OF <br />CROSSROADS FORD: <br />M/S/P Mottaz/Morgan to schedule a public hearing on the application <br />of Conn Co „ Inc, for Industrial Revenue Bond Financing,for <br />acquisition and improvement of Crossroads Ford property for Conn Co. <br />offices, warehouse, and retail store, for November 3, 1981, at <br />8 p.m. <br />Richard Palmiter, Rothschild Financial Corporation and David <br />Johnson, President, Conn Co, asked. the Council's attitude on <br />their project, The Council was generally receptive to the proposal, <br />Mr. Johnson briefly explained their proposal and their present <br />status of purchasing property on Highway 36 in Grant Township, <br />Whittaker noted that Conn Co will need to apply for a rezoning. <br />because their combined uses fit into the General Business catagory. <br />Crossroads Ford was zoned Highway Business, He has apprised Conn Co, <br />of this so they can make application and a�hearing .can.be scheduled <br />with the processing of the IRB application, <br />
