CITY COUNCIL MEETING, JUNE 1, 1982 -5- 9. OLD BUSINESS B. Ordinance 7934 - Continued --Fraser - average for the Park Commission was 5.85 years per member. Members have remained on the Commission although attendance was poor. Different than the Planning Commission as turn over has been minimal. --Eder - prefer to see the policy remain as it is and make an exception to reappoint members after two consecutive terms,with Council approval. Fraser/Mottaz withdrew their motion,- concurred with Eder's position. M/'S/P Mottaz/Fraser to amend 9eetion-,_204:012 of Ordinance 7934.,- Planning Commission Composition and Section 210.012 Park Commission to read "No member may serve more than two consecutive three-year terms unless.the average years of service for all Commission members is less than four years". Motion carried 4-0. M/S/P Eder/Fraser to adopt Ordinance 7934, as amended. Motion carried 4-0. BREAK - 9:00 p.m. Councillor Morgan arrived at 9:00 p.m. 9. C. Fishing from City Right -of -Way - 50th Street - Handled earlier in meeting. D. 50th Street Improvement in Oakdale - Co. 68 to Hwy, 36 - Whittaker reviewed t� summary recommendations from the City of Oakdale with the Council and recommended City support of the project. M/S/P Fraser/Eder to approve the recommendations for theimprovement of 50th-Street from County 68 to Highway 36 as requested by the City of Oakdale. Motion carried 5-0. E. gional Park�Res'erve Master Plan The CouncF accepted the action of the County Board with regard to Lake Elmo's concerns on the park plan. The Council make no further comments. F. Zoning Ordinance Amendments Review - The Council opposed amending Section 301.130C. 14. a. and b, which would increase the square footage of accessory buildings to 4,000 sq. ft. ior_parcels over 10 acres and for parcels of 10 to 20 acres. M/S/P Novak/Eder to .adopt the Zoning Ordinance Amendments, as recommended by the Planning Commission with the exception of Section 301.130 C. 14. a, and 301.130 C. 14. b. G. Board of Review - Council will review the Board of Rev,iew after tae-201 Hearing on June 8, at 8:15 p.m.
