'found the <br />"arrangement" process t.ime consuming and somewhat <br />disruptive for tl-ae= staff. In other c:l.t:.a.e=ts, tl•Ieme:? dinners <br />are typically a Chamber of C;ommerc::e project and are <br />arranged completely outside of City Hall. I believe <br />that in Lake Elmo the2,r:'.t functions and related activities <br />would be better and more efficiently handled by the <br />sponsoring commission. I r'eral.:ize that the City staff <br />will have to be involved in making arrangements to some <br />degree, but:. I would like to keel::) the staff involvement <br />to ra minimum. <br />6. The 'staff felt that this area <br />needed se,alcoat:.i.ng and t.h)at:. t:.hre? Council l would have no <br />problems with this addition. <br />
