R84-59 <br />RESOLUTION <br />CITY OF LAKE ELMO <br />WASHINGTON COUNTY. MINNESOTA <br />A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING MUNICIPAL WATER SERVICE <br />RATES FROM AND AFTER JULY 1, 1985 FOR THE CITY OF <br />LAKE ELMO, WASHINGTON COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />WHEREAS, Section 601.080 of the Lake Elmo Municipal Code <br />provides that the City Council shall establish rates for water service <br />by Resolution; and <br />WHEREAS, the Lake Elmo City Council deems it necessary and <br />proper to establish new rates for water service in the City of Lake <br />Elmo in order to reimburse the City for the cost of providing that <br />service, and to make the Municipal Water Fund self-sufficient; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that the following <br />rate shall achieve those purposes: <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the <br />City of Lake Elmo that from and after July 1, 1985, each user shall be <br />charged a "fixed expense charge" of $5.00 per quarter plus $.90 <br />(ninety cents) for each thousand gallons of water used, provided, <br />however, the minimum charge per quarter shall be $7.50. <br />Adopted by the City Council of the City of Lake Elmo this 20th <br />day of November, 1984. <br />Signed: <br />Maynard//L .
