R-84-62 <br />RESOLUTION <br />CITY OF LAKE ELMO <br />WASHINGTON COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />A RESOLUTION GRANTING A SIMPLE LOT SUBDIVISION TO LAWRENCE KLEIS <br />WHEREAS Lawrence Kleis has made application to the City of Lake <br />Elmo for a Simple Lot Subdivision for a parcel land located in said <br />City legally described as follows to wit: <br />A 66.00 foot wide strip of land over that part of the Northwest <br />Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of Section 3, Township 29 North, <br />Range 21 West, Washington County, Minnesota which lies southerly of <br />the south line of tract of land described in Book 217 of Deeds, page <br />43, as recorded in the office of the County Recorder, Washington <br />County, Minnesota and adjoining and lying westerly of the following <br />described line: <br />Beginning at a point on the north line of said Northwest Quarter <br />of the Northwest Quarter distant 99.00 feet (6 rods) west of the <br />northeast corner of said Northwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter, <br />as measured along said north line; thence southerly to a point on the <br />south line of said Northwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter distant <br />33.00 feet (2 rods) westerly of the southeast corner of said Northwest <br />Quarter of the Northwest Quarter, as measured along said south line <br />and said line there terminate. <br />The area of the above described tract is 1.50 acres, more or less. <br />WHEREAS, it appears that the above parcel of land was not at the <br />time of application a seperately described parcel of record; and, <br />WHEREAS, there does not appear to be any reason related to the <br />public health safety and welfare which would require denial of this <br />simple lot subdivision; and, <br />WHEREAS, Lake Elmo City Code section 401.260 A. lists the <br />requirements for a simple lot subdivision; and, <br />WHEREAS, simple lot subdivisions in the City of Lake Elmo are <br />generally granted for the future construction of a residential home; <br />and, <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Kleis is applying for a simple lot subdivision only <br />to assure future access to his property from Highway 36 and has no <br />intentions on constructing a residential unit on the above described <br />parcel. <br />
