Street Signs in Tri-Lakes Association <br />The Tri-Lakes Association has requested the City to install new <br />signs and posts. <br />M/S/P Dunn/Morgan - to approve the estimated cost of $1,386.15 for <br />30 street signs, 15 four-way bracket signs and 15 posts for the <br />Hidden Bay and 50th St./Hill Trail area. (Motion carried 5-0). <br />E. .Proposed Schedule for Section 32 Improvement Hearing <br />In the Fall of 1985, property owners from the Section 32-33 area <br />of Lake Elmo petitioned the City to conduct a sewer feasibility <br />study for that area of the community. The City Council scheduled <br />a public hearing on requested improvements in Sections 32-33 on <br />Tuesday, February 25th at 7:00 p.m. in the City Council chambers. <br />F.. Partial Payment for Septic Tanks <br />City Engineer Bohrer reported that the three emergency holding <br />tanks were installed and the satellites have been removed from the <br />sites. The work has been acceptable and the total value of the <br />work completed was $8,700. This is $700 less than the contract <br />amount because we dial not have to remove one of the old spetic <br />tanks that he thought was going to be in the way. Bohrer <br />recommends paying Lee's Costruction $8,500 and retaining $200 <br />because there is some clean-up that has to be done in the Spring. <br />8. CITY ADMINISTRATOR'S REPORT <br />A. Metro Council Development & Investment Framework <br />The City Council will wait until they receive the Planning <br />Commission's comments on the MDIF information. <br />C. Development Moratorium <br />The City Council and Planning Commission briefly discussed an <br />interim ordinance to hold off all new development at the joint <br />meeting held on 1-13-86. The State Statute allows a 12 month <br />moratorium with a 6 month extension. After some discussion, it <br />was decided to have a 6 month moratorium with the possibility of <br />extending it if the work is not getting done. The public hearing <br />is scheduled for Tuesday, March 4th. <br />D. Assessor Service Contract for Lake ELmo <br />Frank Langer has been doing the assessment work in Lake Elmo under <br />contract with Washington County for several years now. Frank <br />intends to leave his county job and work on a free-lance contract <br />basis. <br />Mr. Langer has offered to provide his services for 10 percent less <br />
