A 30' wide drainage and walkway easement should be <br />dedicated along the north line of Lot 1 (GB) and <br />Lot 16 (R-1). <br />C. A 25' wide drainage easement should be dedicated along <br />the east line of Lot 16, starting at a point 30' south <br />of the north lot line of Lot 16, proceeding 159.4' south <br />to its end point at the north lot line of Lot 15. <br />d. The ditch should be constructed with a 4:1 inslope, a <br />5' wide bottom, and a 3:1 backslope. <br />e. The applicant shall construct the ditch, re-establish <br />the turn, and maintain it for one year. <br />f. After one year, the ditch shall be inspected and <br />accepted by the City Engineer provided there is no <br />evidence of erosion within the ditch. <br />Mr. Gorman brought up the concept plan for a bakery and other uses and <br />would like a second bridge for that area. The City Staff will work <br />with Mr. Gorman on the bridge proposal,_ <br />M/S/P Johnson/Graves - to approve action by the City Attorney and City <br />Engineer to prepare the necessarry agreement and conditions in order <br />to allow the realignment of the drainage ditch easement on Edward <br />Gorman's property at11011 StillwaterBld.(Motion carried 5-0). <br />D. UPDATE ON MSA.STREET IMPROVEMENTS AND LEGION POND <br />MSA UPDATE <br />City Engineer Bohrer reported that the last action of the Council was <br />to apply for the variance for a 35 mph designed speed on the corner <br />rather than 40 mph and to have the Zibell-Kreuger property appraised. <br />There has been no word on the variance and the property has been <br />appraised. The letter was just received today and will be reviewed by <br />the City Staff. <br />LEGION POND <br />City Administrator Overby had given a petition to the VBWD, but as of <br />this date no response has been received. The DNR had come out to look <br />at Legion Pond and establish the high water mark, but we have not <br />heard from them. There has been no reponse from the DNR on the City's <br />application to the DNR for flood protection money. <br />7. CITY ADMINISTRATOR'S REPORT <br />A. Schedule the 1987 Board of Review <br />Frank Langer presented a short slide presentation on the property tax <br />system. <br />The Board of Review is scheduled for Wednesday, May 20, 1987 from 2:30 <br />p.m. to 7:00 p.m. <br />
