LAKE ELMO CITY COUNCIL MINUTES JANUARY 5, 1988 PAGE 10 <br />M/S/P Graves/Johnson - to accept the improvements as completed on <br />Lake Elmo Heights Addition and release the remaining $500 escrow upon <br />payment of an outstanding pass -through costs. (Motion carried 4-0). <br />City Engineer Bohrer reported that all work for Lake Elmo Heights 2nd <br />Addition has been completed and recommends the Council accepting the <br />improvements and release of the remaining $8,850 escrow. <br />M/S/P Graves/Moe - to accept the completed improvements in Lake Elmo <br />Heights 2nd Addition and release the remaining $8,950 escrow <br />contingent upon payment of any outstanding pass -through costs. (Motion <br />carried 4-0). <br />City Engineer Bohrer reported that the street and drainage improvement <br />are complete on Lake Jane Highlands. The only work remaining is the <br />seeding and cleanup in the spring. <br />M/S/P Graves/Moe - to reduce the escrow amount for improvements <br />remaining to be completed in Lake Jane Highlands by $56,500, <br />contingent upon payment of any outstanding pass -through costs. This <br />will leave $1,000. It was noted that there was a typographical error <br />on the Engineer's December 30th letter regarding Lake Jane Highlands. <br />The correct figure is "the escrow should be released in the amount of <br />$56,500 and the remaining escrow shall be $1,000". (Motion carried <br />4-0). <br />9. CITY COUNCIL REPORT <br />A. Action on City Administrator's Severance Proposal <br />This was deleted from the agenda. <br />10. CITY ADMINISTRATOR'S REPORT <br />A. Selection of Curbside Recycling Program Proposal <br />Deputy Clerk Mary Keuffner provided three responses received to its <br />Request for Proposals for a curb -side recycling program. Those <br />responding were Bellaire Sanitation, SuperCycle and TMT. <br />The City Council will read this information and come back with a <br />decision at the next Council meeting. <br />M/S/P Graves/Johnson - to table a decision on the proposal for <br />full -service curb -side recycling in order to read the submitted <br />information until the January 19th City Counnil meeting. (Motion <br />carried 4-0). <br />B. Parks Maintenance Equipment Requests <br />The City Council asked Finance Director Marilyn Banister to attend the <br />next City Council meeting with clarification of finances before <br />approval of the submiited Parks Maintenance Equipment requests. <br />
