LAKE ELMO CITY COUNCIL MINUTES JANUARY 3, 1989 PAGE 6 <br />(4) COMMUNITY EDUCATION ADVISORY BOARDS (I.S.D. 622 & 834) <br />Rose Armstrong indicated her desire to continue serving as a <br />representative to ISD 622 Community Education Advisory Boars. Nancy <br />Hansen, representative to ISD 834, will be contacted by the City <br />Administrator to find out if she is willing to seek reappointment. <br />M/S/P Williams/Dunn - to reappoint Rosemary Armstrong as a <br />representative to ISD 622 Community Education Advsiory Board and Nancy <br />Hansen as a representative to ISD 834 Community Education Advisory <br />Board; contingent upon her willingness to serve. (Motion carried <br />4-0). <br />(5) Council Representatives - City Functions <br />The council determined to continue with the system of the Council <br />serving as a committee as a whole to represent various functions of <br />the City, i.e., Capital Improvement Committee, Personnel. Committee and <br />Budget Committee. <br />F. REVIEW OF CONDITIONAL USE PERMITS <br />Building Official, Jim McNamara, had submitted his review of <br />compliance of conditions for the 16 Conditional Use Permits existing <br />in the City. It was Jim's opinion that conditions are being met of <br />all. CUP's with the exception of Hammes. The outstanding condition of <br />burning of a brush pile was addressed in a memo from Tom Haugen on <br />Washington County. The Council encouraged the Hammes to set a date now <br />while there was snow on the ground, Amended 1/17/89 Add: <br />Councilman.,Williams asked--the-Building Official to saE7a-121mit-an tie number <br />of llamas. permitted based on the grazable.-acres ordil+ance and enforce our <br />zoning code. This was not subject to the Rockin'L Trailer Sales CUP, <br />M/S/P Williams/Hunt - resolved that Building Inspector/Code <br />Enforcement Officer's.review of existing Conditional Use Permits in <br />the City is accepted. (Motion carried 4-0). <br />Councilman Moe brought up consideration of amending the Cimarron CUP <br />with the condition added that the Cimarron Golf Course should fall <br />under the same watering restrictionsthaf the residents are under when <br />there is a watering ban. <br />M/S/P Hunt/Moe - to direct the City staff to schedule a public hearing <br />to discuss amending the Cimarron CUP to include watering restrictions <br />for the Cimarron Golf Course as the Cimarron residents have to follow <br />when there is a watering ban (Motion carried 4-0). <br />S. CITY ENGINEER'S REPORT: <br />A. Resolution No. 89-1: Authorization to Advertise for Bids, <br />39th Street (Street, Drainage, Watermain) <br />City Engineer Bohrer reported the plan for the 39th Street <br />Improvements within Brockman 2nd and 3rd Additions as complete and <br />ready for the review. The plans provide for watermain, storm sewer, <br />and street construction to City Standards. Bohrer requested that the <br />
