Section 32 & part of 33 <br />Commission No. 9150-009 <br />On April 10, 1989, a staff planning meeting was held to discuss further <br />implementation of a Section 32 Action Plan. <br />Attending were: . Mary Kueffner, Deputy Clerk <br />Chuck Graves, Council Member <br />Lee Hunt, Council Member <br />Rob Enes, PZC Chairman <br />Larry Bohrer, TKDA <br />Mike Black, James R. Hill <br />The Goal for Section 32 development were established as follows: <br />1. Encourage uses that provide a high tax base, <br />2. Encourage uses that have a low demand for public services. <br />3. Achieve the end use at first development; do not allow Interim uses. <br />4. Preserve the natural aesthetics. <br />5. Select financing that has the least overall risk for the City. <br />In prcanoting Section 32, the following amenitie were noted: <br />i. High Visibility - last open intersection of two interstate freeways in <br />metro area. <br />2. Proximity to center cities - 10 minutes to downtown Saint Paul. <br />3. Transportation network Is in place. <br />4. Hemesites available nearby ranging from executive to moderate. <br />
