Discussion ensued <br />on proposed salaries, overtime, comparable worth and comparable salaries. <br />Mayor Dunn called the City Council meeting to order at 7:06 p.m. in the <br />City Council chambers. PRESENT: Dunn, Hunt, Williams, Graves, Moe, City <br />Engineer Larry Bohrer, City Attorney Fritz Knaak, and City Administrator <br />Pat Morrison. <br />1. AGENDA <br />M/S/P Graves/Williams - to approve the July 18, 1989 City Council agenda <br />as presented. (Motion carried 5-0). <br />2. MINUTES: JUNE 20, 1989 <br />M/S/P Graves/Hunt - to approve the June 20, 1989 City Council minutes as <br />amended. (Motion carried 4-1-0 Abstain: Moe). <br />MINUTES: JUNE 6, 1989 <br />M/S/P Graves/Hunt - to bring back the June 6, 1989 City Council minutes <br />for reconsideration. (Motion carried 5-0). <br />Mayor Dunn referred to an error in the closing time of the Public Hearing <br />on Page 3, which should state: the Public Hearing was closed at 7:34 p.m. <br />Councilman Moe was asked for his reason for voting against the motion <br />(page 10) on cancelling the July 4th Council meeting. Councilman's Moe <br />reason: He was available for the meeting. <br />M/S/P Graves/Hunt - to approve the indicated changes in the June 6, 1989 <br />City Council minutes. (Motion carried 5-0). <br />3. CLAIMS <br />claims <br />M/S/P Hunt/Williams - to approve the July 18, 1989 City Council 1�VrNt/q(=/ <br />#91986 thru #92105 as presented. (Motion carried 5-0). <br />4. PUBLIC INQUIRIES <br />Councilman Moe requested investigation of possible causes that could have <br />lent to the flooding of Dora Lee's property at 635 Cimarron when the rain <br />storm occurred on June 30, 1989. mayor Dunn responded to Lee's complaint <br />by cPn.tacting Al Dornfeld, VBWD, Fahich resulted with theip :.T.n 1T 1 t �qtter. <br />The Valley Branch Watershed District stated in their July etter <br />to Ms. Lee, they have no control of rain fall events or authority to <br />correct the problem of sedimentation at the storm water culvert inlet in <br />Cimarron. <br />
