NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council for the <br />City of Lake Elmo is opposed to the detachment and annexation of said <br />property; and <br />FURTHER, that the City Council for the City of Lake Elmo is <br />opposed to the use of concurrent detachment and annexation as a method <br />of resolving differences in development philosophies between the City <br />and these or any other individual land owners within the City of Lake <br />Elmo; and <br />FURTHER, that the City Council for the City of Lake Elmo has <br />determined that it is not in the best interest of the City of Lake <br />Elmo that said concurrent detachment and annexation proceeding <br />continue until the previous dispute is finalized; and <br />FURTHER, that the City Council for the City of Lake Elmo has <br />determined that it is not, under any circumstances, in the best <br />interest of the City of Lake Elmo that said concurrent detachment and <br />annexation be approved. <br />ADOPTED, by the City Council of the City of Lake Elmo this 4th <br />day of April, 1989. <br />Signed: <br />Susan Dunn, Mayor <br />
