RESOLUTION NO. 89-37 ORDER CITY OF LAKE ELMO In the Matter of Hazardous Building Located at 7676 Hudson Boulevard. City of Lake Elmo, Washington County, Minnesota, commonly known as the Cozy Cove Motel. Legally described as all that part of the South half of the Southeast Quarter (SI/2 of SEI/4) of Section thirty-two (32), Township Twenty-nine (29) North, Range Twenty-one (21) West, described as follows, to -wit: Beginning at the Southwest corner of the Southeast Quarter of said Section and thence running East on said Section line 351.57 feet to a point; thence North and parallel to the West line of said Southeast Quarter (SEI/4) Three Hundred Eighty (380) feet to a point; thence East on a line parallel to the South Section line Three Hundred Ninety-six (396) feet to a point; thence South on a line parallel to said West line of said Southeast Quarter (SEI/4) Three Hundred Eighty (380) feet to the South section line; thence West along said Section line Three Hundred Ninety-six (396) feet to the point of beginning, except that part taken for highway purposes, and All that part of the South half of the Southeast Quarter (SI/2 of SEI/4) of Section Thirty-two (32), Township Twenty-nine (29) North, Range Twenty-one (21) West, described as follows, to -wit: Beginning at the Southwest corner of the Southeast Quarter of said Section and thence running East on said Section line Seven Hundred Forty-seven and fifty-seven hundredth (747.57) feet to a point; thence North and parallel to the West line of said Southeast Quarter (SEI/4) Three Hundred Eighty (380) feet to a point; thence East on a line parallel to the South Section line One Hundred Thirty-two (132) feet to a point; thence South on a line parallel to said West line of said Southeast Quarter (SE1/4) Three Hundred Eighty (380) feet to the South section line; thence West along said Section line One Hundred Thirty-two (132) feet to the point of beginning, except that part taken for highway purposes; subject to the restriction that no school house building shall ever be moved on to and located upon said land. TO: Elmer Haase and Ruth Haase, husband and wife. 1. Pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Section 463.15 to 463.61 the Council of the City of Lake Elmo, having duly considered the matter, finds the above described building to be a hazardous building for the following reasons: a. The foundation and wood supporting walls of the premises is in need of structural repair. b. The roof has rotted members and needs sheathing and reshingling. c. There are missing or damaged interior and exterior doors. d. A substantial number of windows are broken or missing. e. Interior walls are damaged or dilapidated.
