Request for Pressure Washer <br />In 1983 the City purchased a pressure washer from Clarence Skarpohl <br />Co, which Dan Olinger, Public Works Supt., explained has been'i.n for <br />repairs many times. The service company advised Dan not to repair this <br />unit, but to replace it. <br />Dan Olinger requested approval to purchase the Hot-sy model 660 <br />pressure washer at the quoted price of $2,805.50. This unit will be <br />used to keep equipment cleaned for better appearance and mechanical <br />operation and for thawing frozen culverts and pipes. <br />The Council requested the staff to make the Maintenance Dept. aware of <br />this purchase using up a large portion of their Miscellaneous <br />Equipment budget. <br />MIS/P Hunt/Armstrong - to approve authorization by the Maintenance <br />Dept. to purchase the Hotsy Model 660 pessure washer at the quoted <br />price of $2,805.50. (Motion carried 5-0). <br />B. Request to advertise for bids for dump truck, snow plow, <br />and sander. <br />Maintenance Foreman, Dan Olinger, requested approval from the Council <br />to advertise for bids for the dump truck, dump box and hydraulic <br />system, reversible snow plow, right -side mounted wing plow, underbody <br />snow plow and undertailgate sander. <br />The trade-in is the 1983 L-8000 single axle, 3208 210 HP., MT.653 <br />Allision automatic. 11 foot Falls reversible snowplow, 10 foot Falls <br />wing, Falls dual auger under tailgate trough sander, 10 foot L-Z dump <br />body. <br />Councilman Williams indicated it was appropriate at this point to <br />advertise for bids for the dump truck and accessory equipment. <br />M/S/P Williams/Graves - to direct the staff to advertise for bids for <br />a dump truck, dump box and hydraulic system, snow plow, wing plow, <br />underbody snow plow, and sander. (Motion carried 5-0). <br />10. CITY COUNCIL REPORTS: <br />Mayor Dunn has been in communication with Mary Luth who informed the <br />Mayor the Lake Jane Landfill problem is being addressed. Ramsey and <br />Washington Counties have been working together on developing a <br />conceptual design for a safe drinking water system and are updating <br />the information they had from before. They are targeting another <br />community meeting at the end of February or beginning of March to <br />update the residents. <br />Mayor Dunn updated the Council on following mail she received: <br />
