Accident Coverage for City Boards, Committees and
Commissions
The City received a memo from the League of Minnesota Cities regarding
accident insurance for members of the City Council and other City
Boards, Committees and Commissions.
Parks Chair, Nancy Hansen, commented on several occasions park members
have wanted to cut down trees in the park and was told there was no
insurance coverage for this. This could promote more activities by
volunteers in the City.
M/S/P Williams/Hunt - to refer this issue on accident insurance
coverage for City Boards, Committees and Commissions, not necessarily
this package, to the City's Insurance Consultant for his comments and
recommendations.
