LAKE ELMO CITY COUNCIL MINUTES JUNE 5, 1990 PAGE 3 <br />M/S/P Hunt/Armstrong - to approve the agreement to provide public <br />water to the Lake Jane Well Advisory Area between the City of Lake <br />Elmo and the City of Oakdale, Ramsey County and Washington County; <br />contingent upon polling of the City Council for approval of new <br />wording change for 2A of the agreement and to include minor <br />corrections:(Page 1: change "desires" to "agrees" and add Attachment <br />C.). (Motion carried 4-0). <br />8. PLANNING/LAND USE/ZONING: <br />A. Variance and Shoreland Permit (Continuation) <br />Joseph Kiesling, 9359 Jane Road North <br />At the last Council meeting, the Council postponed action on this <br />request so that staff could get a clarification from the VBWD's <br />engineer and the DNR regarding the difference of opinions in relation <br />to the OHWM. <br />M/S/P Williams/Armstrong - to bring back to the table consideration of <br />a variance requested by Joseph Kiesling. (Motion carried 4-0). <br />Mr. Kiesling submitted new information for Council and staff review <br />and requested consideration of his request be postponed until the June <br />19th Council meeting. <br />M/S/P Williams/Hunt - to postpone further consideration until the June <br />19th Council meeting based on the applicant's request for postponement <br />in order for the Council to review the new information submitted. <br />(Motion carried 4-0). <br />B. Shoreland Permit: William Bloyer <br />8881 Jane Road N. <br />William Bloyer, 8881 Jane Road North, has applied for a Shoreland <br />Permit to construct a 24' x 36' unattached garage. Jim McNamara, <br />Building Official, reported in his letter, dated May 24, 1990, all <br />setbacks can be met and no variances are required. A verbal response <br />from Molly Shodeen, DNR, indicated no concern with the application. <br />M/S/P Armstrong/Williams - to approve the Shoreland Permit for William <br />Bloyer, 8881 Jane Road N., to construct a 24' x 36' unattached garage <br />based on Jim McNamara's letter, dated May 24, 1990, stating all <br />setbacks can be met and no variances are required, and based on the <br />DNR having no concerns with the application. (Motion carried 4-0). <br />M/S/P Williams/Hunt - to posptone consideration of Item 9A until the <br />City Engineer arrives. (Motion carried 4-0). <br />9. CITY ENGINEER'S REPORT <br />A. Street Improvement for 33rd & Laverne <br />Drainage Improvement for Old Village (Continuation) <br />M/S/P Hunt/Williams - to bring back Item 9A for Council consideration. <br />(Motion carried 4-0). <br />
