LAKE ELMO CITY COUNCIL MINUTES MARCH 5, 1991 PAGE 8 <br />The Council indicated they were in favor of such an ordinance, but <br />requested the City Attorney make the ordinance applicable to the City <br />of Lake Elmo. <br />M/S/P Mottaz/Dick Johnson - to request the city attorney prepare an <br />ordinance applicable to the city of Lake Elmo for the April 2nd <br />Council meeting. (Motion carried 5-0). <br />F. Other <br />8. CITY ENGINEER'S REPORT: <br />A. SW-1 Watermain Project <br />Tom Prew reported the plans and specifications for the SW-1 Watermain <br />Project are now complete and ready for Council review and approval. <br />To keep this project on schedule, they would like to advertise for <br />bids in both the St. Croix Valley Press and the Construction Bulletin <br />the weeks of March 11 and 18, 1991. Bids would be open on April 5, <br />1991. <br />At a previous meeting, the Council promised to bring the -plan -and <br />specifications for resident's review before Council approval. If <br />there are any changes to these plans as a result of Council action, <br />Tom Prew explained this can be handled through the addendum process. <br />M/S/P Williams/Hunt - to authorize the City Engineer to advertise for <br />bids on the plans as presented on 3-5-91, with the understanding that <br />any changes to these plans as a result of Council_ action will be <br />handled through the addendum process. (Motion carried 5-0). <br />M/S/P Williams/Hunt - to direct the <br />property owners of the availability <br />and of a public information meeting <br />3-6 p.m, at which time residents may <br />Engineer. (Motion carried 5-0). <br />B. Old Village Drainage Update <br />City staff to notify the abutting <br />of the plans at the City Office <br />to be held on Tuesday, March 12th, <br />ask questions of the City <br />Tom Prew presented a letter from Karen Chandler, Barr Engineering, <br />regarding the city's request to divert water to Sunfish Lake. The <br />Sunfish Lake residents will be notified of the City's request and <br />invited to the March 19th Council meeting. <br />9. CITY ATTORNEY'S REPORT: <br />City Attorney Jerry Fil.la made the <br />Derrick Land on Wednesday (3-6-91), <br />and waiting for a hearing date, the <br />because her attorney lost his voice <br />continued to March 28, Pretrial for <br />March 19th. <br />following report: Ile will meet with <br />Judge Cass appeal has been filed <br />Jamie Olson trial was continued <br />and could not speak.
