Dornfeld commented they are considering amending the 509 <br />Plan and addressing the concern of the Downs Lake area and. the 28th <br />and Jamley flooding problem. <br />10. CITY ATTORNEY'S REPORT: <br />A. Resolution No. 91-21: R.J. O'Neil <br />The City received a letter from Briggs and Morgan regarding an error <br />in the legal description of the R.J. O'Neil proprrty, Vali-Hi <br />Drive -In. The City Attorney prepared a resolution which when filed <br />with the County will correct the erroneous legal description. The <br />theater property appears to lie in the South east Quarter of the <br />Southwest Quarter of Section 36-29-21. <br />M/S/P Dick Johnson/Hunt - to adopt Resolution No. 91-21, a resolution <br />correcting the legal description in the resolutions referred to in the <br />May 16th letter to the City from Briggs and Morgan as it relates to <br />the R.J. O'Neil property commonly known as the Vali-Hi Drive In. <br />(Motion carried 5-0). <br />B. Trimming of Minutes <br />There was Council consensus on trimming of Council minutes to include <br />Resolutions, Motions and Findings of Fact and eliminate all the <br />discussion. This procedure will be reviewed periodically. A draft <br />policy will be brought back for Council approval on length of time <br />video tapes of Council meetings are to be stored. <br />11. CITY COUNCIL REPORTS: <br />A. Mayor Johnson <br />Mayor Johnson reported the staff met with a potential commercial <br />developer for property along I-94. Lake Elmo is one out of five sites <br />being considered. <br />B. Councilman Hunt - Computer <br />Councilman Williams - Computer <br />A computer purchasing workshop, consisting of staff, Councilmen Hunt, <br />Johnson, Williams, and representative from Voto, Tautges, Redpath, was <br />set for Monday, June 17, at 7:30 a.m. at City Hall. <br />C. Councilman Johnson - Maintenance Advisory Committee <br />The Maintenance Advisory Committee recommended approval for the Parks <br />& Recreation Dept. to purchase a truck in the amount up to $5,000. <br />M/No Second Dick Johnson/No Second. - to authorize $5,000 to be taken <br />( out of the Parks Capitol Improvement Budget for the Park & Recreation <br />Dept. to purchase a pick-up truck for purpose of maintenance for the <br />parks in summer. <br />
