Goetschel Property Rezoning
Mr. & Mrs. Walter Goetschel have asked that the City
initiate a comp plan amendment and rezoning of their
property from RAD to RED and have indicated that the fees
involved would create a hardship for them. Section 301.060E
of the code stated an amendment to the ordinance can be
initiated by the City Council, the Planning Commission, or
by petition of affected property owners.
The Council agreed that since the hardship was not defined
the fees should not be waived. Without any charge to the
applicant, the Council suggested the concept plan be brought
before the Planning Commission for their review.
