LAKE ELMO CITY COUNCIL MINUTES JUNE 1, 1993 3 <br />5. OLD BUSINESS• <br />Olson Lake Pond: <br />Larry Bohrer will make a report on the Olson Lake Pond at <br />the June 15, 1993 city council meeting. <br />Acting Mayor Johnson continued the meeting because Mayor <br />John left at 8:20 p.m. to attend the Washington County Board <br />meeting. <br />6. CITY ENGINEER'S REPORT: <br />A. DNR Fill Permit: Tartan Park <br />M/S/C Mottaz/Johnston - to direct the staff to reply to the <br />DNR that the City has no negative comments on the request of <br />Tartan Park to fill wetlands according to the plans <br />submitted to and reviewed by the City Engineer. (Motion <br />carried 4-0.) <br />B. 1993 Bituminous Overlay Project <br />M/S/C Mottaz/Johnson - to adopt Resolution No. 93-30 through <br />93-38 accepting the feasibility reports for the 1993 <br />Bituminous Overlay Projects and calling a public hearing for <br />proposed improvements for June 3, 1993. (Motion carried 4- <br />0.) <br />C. Pebble Park Tennis Court Resurfacing <br />M/S/C Mottaz/Conlin - to adopt Resolution No. 93-39 ordering <br />the resurfacing of the Pebble Park Tennis Court and <br />directing the City Engineer to prepare the plans and <br />specifications for said project and solicit bids according <br />to State Law and the City's purchasing policy. (Motion <br />carried 4-0.) <br />The City staff will review the purchasing policy for <br />incorporation of state statute. <br />7. PLANNING/LAND USE & ZONING: <br />A. 1993 Comprehensive Plan Amendments <br />The Planning Commission held a public hearing on May 10 and <br />continued discussion at it's May 24, 1992 meeting. The <br />Commission recommended action on 7 of the 8 Plan Amendments <br />under consideration. The Hesse property was tabled until <br />June 14, 1993. <br />The Council received a memo, dated May 27, 1992, From Mike <br />Black describing the process we must go through to finalize <br />these amendments and a flow chart describing the process and <br />timing for an amendment. <br />
