LAKE ELMO CITY COUNCIL MINUTES JUNE 1, 1993 4 <br />M/S/C Conlin/Johnson - to table the proposed 1993 <br />Comprehensive Plan Amendments pending the Planning <br />Commission's recommendation on the following properties: <br />Hesse (10830 50th St. N., Klatt (25 acres commonly known as <br />11825 50th St.), 8+ acres south of 10th St. (11817 10th <br />St.), three residential properties, 8718, 8728, 8790 <br />Demontreville Trail N., adjacent to the Mottaz property. <br />(Motion carried 3-1: Mottaz: Abstain: His property is being <br />considered for a Comp Plan Amendment.) <br />B. City of Oakdale: 1993 Comprehensive Plan Amendment <br />The Council received a report from Mike Black, dated May 25, <br />1993, on the Major Comprehensive Plan Amendment submitted to <br />Met Council by the City of Oakdale. <br />M/S/C Mottaz/Johnston - to direct the city staff (planner <br />and administrator) to attend the Metropolitan Council <br />meeting to speak to the issues raised by the city planner in <br />his memo dated May 25, 1993 regarding the city of Oakdale's <br />Comprehensive Plan Amendment and to further communicate <br />these comments to the Metropolitan Council in writing. <br />(Motion carried 4-0.) <br />C. Request from T.P. Armstrong for Amendment to <br />Section 301.070.D.b. <br />The Council received a memo from Mike Black, dated May 24, <br />1993 and a letter from Tom Armstrong Jr., dated March 22, <br />1993, requesting the city consider amendments to <br />Agricultural CUP Ordinance 301.070D.b. <br />M/S/C Mottaz/Johnson - to deny the changes,submitted by Tom <br />Armstrong, Jr., amending the Alternate Ag Zoning ordinance. <br />(Motion carried 4-0.) <br />D. Rolling Hills Estates: Final Plat <br />The Council has received from Chuck Nelson a signed <br />developer's Agreement approved by both the city engineer and <br />city attorney. The issue regarding the standards for the <br />street in Rolling Hills has been resolved and they will <br />build a 9-ton design. <br />Larry Bohrer has reviewed the construction plans and <br />specifications, grading plan, landscaping plan, and final <br />plat, and found they are in compliance with the city code. <br />M/S/C Conlin/Johnston - to adopt Resolution No. 93-40, as <br />amended (Condition #4:... said easement must be signed by all <br />record owners), granting final plat approval to Rolling <br />Hills Estates as conditioned. (Motion carried 4-0.) <br />
